While they might not be as detailed as the LEGO tanks you’d normally find over at Flickr, these tanks were designed to be more of a base model that people would buy and then add their own customization to. The booth guy was even explaining how one of the tanks had custom treads from a 3rd party custom parts maker to give it a more realistically military look.
