Due to very promising performance results and feedback on the Sailia units, the NEST Special Forces have issued a development order for mass produced Sailia units nicknamed OG.
Featuring a military grey color scheme, the new units ditch the RC-ELMARAIL railgun rear weapon in exchange for the AR-G99BURST assault rifle and SW-MACHETE combat sword loadout. Two shoulder loadouts are available, either using the RADAR-2FSAILIA and MS-RNMK4M pair or replacing both with extra armor from the ARMOR-2FSAILIA.
BUILD NOTES
This was actually an unexpected byproduct of a commission I did using the Sailia as the base. The client wanted a more muted military color scheme on the Sailia as an attempt to use more accessible pieces (the original Sailia is in sand blue). We were deciding between tan and a grey variant and while I was building the grey version, I figured I’d use some old Dark Grey pieces I’ve been stocking up on.
The client went with the Tan one (named Oenanthe) with a slightly different loadout than the OG. There were also new pieces of equipment added to both versions from the original Sailia such as the optional shoulder armor add-ons, the new blade weapons, and the new assault rifle on the OG build.
Personally, I love doing builds of grunt mechs so I’ll be making the Sailia (original and OG) available as purchasable designs via an Instruction Manual.

WIP Process
Comparison with the Oenanthe commission (tan Sailia)
This is actually the only WIP picture of the Sailia OG as it was mostly a recolor rebuild of the Sailia with some very small differences.
Here’s the picture I sent the client of the commission progress comparing both colorways so we could decide on which one to go with.
Since there was a few new pieces on the Sailia build that would be impossible to be in old Dark Grey, I had to substitute those with either DBG (dark blue grey) or pearl dark silver (Nexo shield tile).
reFRAME v3 Instruction Manual
The reFrame System is a modular brick skeleton aimed to help both new and veternan brick mech builders create their own designs in a consistent size with modular capabilities. It was originally designed to be a basis for all my mechs in the Mech Wars universe. Having gone through a number of upgrades, the V3 reFrame can now house a minifigure pilot in the chest without sacrificing aesthetic or articulation.

Amazingly loyal to the original model of the saila. Interesting re-color and an interesting new loadout! The chest build is old, but is still outstanding! Truly beautiful!
